Paris Saint-Germain fought for a vital victory in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
The French champions secured a 3-0 away win against Salzburg and at least for now have moved up to 24th place in the standings, which would guarantee a spot in the knockout stages.
However, PSG is very close to the relegation zone and could return to it as early as Wednesday. This was mentioned by the team's coach, Luis Enrique, after the victorious match.
"Football is not always fair. Right now, the Champions League table is very tight, so even one goal can mean a lot. We have two very important matches ahead of us. We could still end up without a knockout stage,"
Enrique said. "I don’t think we played better than against PSV or Atletico. We might even have looked worse.
We really need points, so we will try to win the remaining matches," he added.
