L. Enrique will devote next season to rest

"Barcelona" leaving coach Luis Enrique hinted that he would dedicate next year to vacation.

The Catalan strategist decided to step down after a poor stretch this season. Taking over from Pep Guardiola, he led the team to triumph in the UEFA Champions League, two "La Liga" titles, and two Spanish King's Cups.

Interestingly, the 46-year-old coach, having already announced his decision, saw "Barca" achieve the biggest comeback in Champions League history when they beat "Paris Saint-Germain" 6-1 in the return leg.

"If I leave Barcelona, my home, where I have great relationships with the club and players, it is purely because of fatigue," Enrique said.

"I need to recover. I am not thinking about other teams. It will be a year devoted to recuperation, but now we still have to finish the season with all our goals achieved."

"Barca" is currently two points behind Madrid's "Real" in the Spanish championship and will face Turin's "Juventus" in the Champions League quarterfinals.
