"Dortmund's "Borussia" had no chance in the crucial match against Munich's "Bayern" on Saturday, suffering a 0-4 defeat.
BVB strategist Lucien Favre made a change in the starting lineup in the first half, replacing Jadon Sancho, who had recently been recovering from an injury. However, Dortmund's coach revealed that the substitution was not due to the injury.
"He had a minor injury and didn't train for a few days. Jadon joined the team on Friday, but, I think you saw that he wasn't good enough today. The substitution was not due to the injury," Favre said after the match.
Favre also emphasized that he was most disappointed not by the result, but by the team's performance.
"It was a very poor team performance. That's why I'm most disappointed. We can lose such matches, but not in this way," added BVB's strategist.
