"Napoli" striker Lorenzo Insigne has admitted that he may move to another team next summer.
The 25-year-old footballer is living a dream, as he still represents his hometown club, but negotiations for a new contract are not going well so far.
It seems that an agreement will not be reached in the near future.
"Extension of the contract? I talked to "Napoli" this summer, but the first meeting did not go well," - Insigne told Rai Sport.
"My agents will talk about the renewal of the contract. I told the president that I am fully prepared for it, and I hope the contract will be agreed upon. If my dream of representing "Napoli" falls through, it won't be my fault."
"My dream was to reach Serie A with "Napoli" and win important trophies. I have said enough to the president and done what I had to do. My conscience is clear."
"I expressed my position. If they want to continue our collaboration, then good. Otherwise, we will go our separate ways."
The Italian national team player has been linked with a move to London's "Arsenal" and "Liverpool" clubs for several years now.
