One of the leaders of "Napoli", Lorenzo Insigne, has tied his future to the club - he signed a new contract until 2022.
The 25-year-old winger has been in excellent form this season - in 43 matches played, he scored 16 goals and provided 10 assists.
European giants have already shown interest in the Italian national team player, but "Napoli" did not wait for the summer and, in an attempt to ward off other clubs targeting him, offered him a new contract.
"I am very happy - my childhood dream has already come true. I have to thank coach Sarri and the whole team, who trust me and allow me to lead," said L. Insigne.
In terms of physique and movement, the Italian, reminiscent of Lionel Messi, is a product of the "Napoli" club. L. Insigne opened the doors of this team back in 2006, but he started playing regularly in the main lineup as a winger in the 2012-13 season.
In total, L. Insigne has played over 200 matches for "Napoli" and is approaching the 50-goal mark.
