Last season's UEFA Champions League final blundering goalkeeper of "Liverpool" Loris Karius once again found himself in the spotlight - this time he made a mistake in a friendly match, wrote lrytas.lt.
The 25-year-old German missed an embarrassing goal in a preseason "Liverpool" match against the second league "Tranmere" club. With "Liverpool" leading 3-0, L. Karius failed to successfully catch a long-range shot by Johny Smith and when the ball rebounded, the opponent in front of the goal easily converted the second chance.
As the "Tranmere" players celebrated the goal, a defender from that team approached L. Karius and shouted at him "You're a worthless piece of trash." The goalkeeper did not react to the words and with his head down walked away.
