The Argentine was selected for the Ligue 1 season's team, but decided to skip the awards ceremony.
Instead, Lionel Messi chose to attend a concert by the famous group "Coldplay," which took place in the capital of Catalonia, Barcelona.
PSG striker Kylian Mbappe was named the best player of the season at the league awards, scoring 28 goals and providing 5 assists during the season.
PSG defender Nuno Mendes was named the best young player.
