The Paris Saint-Germain team will not be extending their contract with forward Lionel Messi in the near future. The Ligue 1 champions tried to keep the global superstar for a longer period, but the striker had a different opinion on this matter. "Sky Sports" reports that PSG offered the sniper to extend his contract until mid-2024, but the player said "no". L. Messi will decide on his future after the World Cup in Qatar at the end of next year. The current veteran's contract with the Paris team is valid until the summer of 2023.
