And on December 18th, in Qatar, the football icon achieved it. In the World Cup final, Argentina defeated France after an 11-meter penalty shootout, and L. Messi added a stylish trophy to his collection.
"I knew that God would give it to me. I had a feeling that this trophy would be mine," - said the leader of Argentina after the match.
"We can't wait to be in Argentina, where we will see an incredible celebration of victory.
"This was the trophy I wanted all my life. It was my childhood dream. It is the best thing, look how good it looks," - Messi told the journalist.
