L. Messi: I see how many more people want me to win the World Cup

Lionel Messi communicating with the media said that he feels huge support from people and revealed that they are the ones pushing him to triumph in the 2018 World Cup.

L. Messi does not have the best memories with the Argentine national team. He lost to Germany in the final of the 2014 World Cup, and in the South American championship, he had to admit Chile's superiority twice.

Many recognize that L. Messi lacks a World Cup trophy with the national team to be considered one of the greatest footballers of all time. L. Messi is ready to fulfill this dream this upcoming summer.

"I see many people everywhere who want this World Cup to be successful for me. I see their desire to see me lifting this trophy," the forward said to his country's television.

"The truth is, it makes me a little nervous, but it's impressive to see that people in every corner of the world want to see Argentina winning the world championships," added L. Messi.

L. Messi himself also admitted that this World Cup will probably be his last: "There is a feeling that for many players of this generation, this will be the last time in such a tournament."
