Lionel Messi revealed that he is increasingly adapting to the attacking midfielder position.
The 32-year-old footballer still shows phenomenal statistics in attack, but the Argentine himself claims that he is not obsessed with scoring as many goals as possible.
"I think less and less about goals," - Messi said on DAZN. - "Now I try to drop deeper and create rather than finish attacks."
"Of course, I like to score goals and whenever I have the opportunity, I will do it. However, now in my mind I try to focus more on the game itself, not just the goals. I was never obsessed with them.
"I imagine people will start talking when my goal scoring decreases, but every player adapts to the game over time and does what is best for him and the team," - added L. Messi.
