L. Messi, who scored 34 goals in the 2017-2018 season of the Spanish football league, surpassed Mohamed Salah, who had 32 accurate shots playing for the English club "Liverpool".
The Argentine, who received this award for the fifth time, surpassed his greatest rival - Cristiano Ronaldo, who won this prize four times. L. Messi had previously won the "Golden Boot" in 2009-2010, 2011-2012, 2012-2013, and 2016-2017.
He does not slow down this season either - so far he has scored 14 goals, made 10 assists, and became the first footballer in Europe to achieve such a "double double".
