One of the best planet's safe Luka Modrić has another dream in Real Madrid club.
In 2012, arriving in Madrid and having already won all possible titles with this club, L. Modrić, giving an interview to the "Marca" newspaper, talked about life in the club and the desire to end his football career here.
"It's not something I can talk about now, but maintaining my current form, taking good care of my body and physical preparation, of course, I will think about the possibility of ending my career in Madrid," said the Croatian footballer of the year.
"If I don't stop working, I think there are still many great years waiting for me at the highest level. I always wanted to be at this stage of my career and I would like to be here until the end of my career," said the 31-year-old midfielder.
Asked about the possible departures of Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez, L. Modrić said in a very original way: "Indeed, leaving Real is a very difficult decision. When you leave this place, nothing will ever be the same.
Now you are in the best club in the world, and when you leave it - you only fall down. Everyone has their reasons to do so, but I don't see myself among them. Everything can change very quickly in football."
L. Modrić, considered a key player in the Real Madrid team, has already played 214 matches in five seasons in the ranks of the "Whites" and has won the UEFA Champions League three times.
