Luka Modric shared an unheard story in his biographical book, where the main characters were Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo. Modric, signed by Mourinho in 2012, emphasized that the relationship between C. Ronaldo and J. Mourinho was far from warm. The Croatian recalled an incident when the conflict between the two Portuguese almost escalated into a fight. "I remember an incident when we were playing the King's Cup match. "In one episode, Ronaldo did not run after the opponent, and Jose got very angry with him. They both were angry throughout the first half. Finally, when we returned to the locker room, I saw that Ronaldo looked overwhelmed, as if he was about to cry. He then said: I do my best, but he (Jose) still criticizes me.
