Madrid's "Real" midfielder Luka Modrić eagerly awaits the opportunity to play his first game after a long-term injury.
The 29-year-old footballer suffered the injury on November 18 in a friendly match against Italy, but his rehabilitation took longer than expected. According to the Croatian, he should return to the field within three weeks.
"My rehabilitation is going according to plan," said the former London "Tottenham" player. "Everything is going well so far, and I am happy about it."
"I should be back on the field very soon. From the beginning, I knew that the injury was very serious. I cannot afford to rush back to playing, as a muscle tear is a very complex injury," added one of the leaders of "Real".
Before the injury, L. Modrić managed to play 17 matches and score once for the "white" team.
