Sankt-Peterburgo "Zenit" saugas Leandro Paredesas hopes to move to Turin's "Juventus" or Madrid's "Real" this summer.
The Argentine arrived in Russia just last July, but there are already rumors that he is indeed interested in the mentioned European giants.
The 23-year-old footballer should defend his country's honor in the World Cup this summer, which could be a great opportunity to increase his value.
"You know, I have many friends in Turin, but now I have to concentrate on 'Zenit,' and then we'll see - you never know what might happen at the end of the season," Paredes told "RMC Sport."
"It's important for me to know about the interest from clubs like 'Juventus' and Madrid's 'Real.' However, I try to handle these transfer rumors calmly. I try to remain unaffected."
"I will make a decision after the World Cup, but choosing between 'Juventus' and 'Real' is not easy, it would be a tough decision for me."
"I would prefer to have both offers on the table first and only choose then. Right now, I have to focus on my work and success, otherwise I risk losing the interest of these great clubs."
"I am young and I must think carefully about the decision I will make. I am not afraid to go to Madrid with all the champions - I would be ready for the challenge."
"However, there are also many other factors that I must consider before deciding finally. My family has nothing to do with it. They want only the best for me, so it is a personal decision."
Paredes played 33 matches in all competitions this season, scoring five goals and providing eight assists.
