Chelsea sniper Loic Remy says he is ready to replace Diego Costa, who has been suspended for three matches.
The Spaniard will be forced to miss the next two Premier League matches for unsportsmanlike behavior towards Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny. The Blues played without their main striker in yesterday's Capital One Cup match against Walsall.
Remy, when asked if he is prepared to change his playing style to fill the void left by Costa, replied: "I have no choice. I have to do it, because when you represent Chelsea, the question is whether you will give yourself one hundred percent. Of course, I will do everything I can."
"We will miss Diego, as he is very important for the team and victories, but whoever steps onto the field in his place, we will just give it our all. It's a shame to lose him for three matches."
Furthermore, Remy also revealed that he was uncertain about his future in the Blues' ranks this summer, as Costa was the club's main striker throughout the previous season.
