Argentinian national team coach Lionel Scaloni hopes to silence the army of critics, at least temporarily.
Last night, his players defeated Qatar 2-0 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the "Copa America", where they will face Venezuela.
"We need to improve certain things, but we are satisfied. We need these matches to gain confidence. Especially in the second half of the game, we played without fear. Sometimes these guys run out onto the field to play football matches, but it seems like they are at war. Feeling such pressure makes it difficult to play."
"The message should be: while we fight in the "Copa America", we are all on the same side," Scaloni said.
