L. Scolari dismissed from the position of coach of the Brazilian national team

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has announced that they will not renew the contract with the national team coach Luiz Felipe Scolari, just a few hours after Germany defeated Argentina in this year's World Cup.

L.F. Scolari said he will let CBF decide his fate, after his team lost the battle for third place on Saturday, losing to the Netherlands 0:3. On Tuesday, the Brazilian team suffered a humiliating defeat, losing to Germany 1:7.

The 65-year-old coach has been in charge of Brazil since 2012, and the following year he led them to victory in the Confederations Cup, defeating Spain 3:0 in the final.

This was the second time L.F. Scolari led his country's national team.

Having worked with the team from 2001-2002, the coach won the 2002 World Cup, where Brazil defeated Germany 2:0 in the final.

Before 2001, the coach worked with various teams in his country, and from 2003-2008 he led the Portuguese national football team. Later, he coached Chelsea, the Turkish Bunyodkor team, and the Brazilian Palmeiras club.
