Brazilian national team coach Luiz Felipe Scolari stirred up the whole of Brazil at a press conference, saying that this World Cup belongs to the Brazilians.
"To all the people of Brazil, I want to say that it is our time now. This championship is our championship," said the 65-year-old specialist.
"To triumph in this tournament, you need to take seven steps, but right now we are only thinking about one – how to defeat Croatia. After that, there will be six more steps ahead of us, but if we want to be the strongest, we have to beat all opponents," added L. Scolari.
Meanwhile, Croatia's coach Niko Kovač, the architect of victories, was not so enthusiastic, but today they will try to spoil Brazil's party.
"First of all, I want to say that Brazil is not just Neymar, because this team has other great footballers. We will do everything to achieve a good result. Brazil is very strong, but we promise to attack," said the strategist.
The opening match of the World Cup in Group A between Brazil and Croatia will start today at 23:00 Lithuania time. The match will be broadcast live on LRT.
