L. Shaw promises tougher resistance to "Man City" and "Liverpool" teams.

Having endured a tough last season, the "Manchester United" team was left without trophies, finishing only in third place in the Premier League and losing their place in the UEFA Champions League.

On top of that, "Red Devils" fans had to witness England teams fighting in the finals of the most important European tournaments.

The best "Man Utd" player of last season, Luke Shaw, said that the season was painful not only for the fans, but also for the players.

"The past season was painful for all of us. I know it was painful for the fans, but it was just as painful for the whole team.

The last season was a huge disappointment also because of how other English teams performed. While we were on holiday, they were competing for trophies.

It was very difficult for us. We couldn't even enjoy our holidays. When you see only English teams in the finals of the Champions League and Europa League, you start to feel even worse. None of us wants that to happen again.

I think that is the main reason why we are returning with a completely different attitude. We had enough time to clear our minds, and now we want to bring the "United" team back to where it belongs," Shaw said.

The defender also said that the "Liverpool" and "Manchester City" teams, who fought for the title last season, will face more resistance this time.

"It won't be as easy for them as last season. People are probably already doubting our chances, but they can continue to do so.

Both I and the team know what we can do, and this season will be much better than the last. We need to get back on the path of victories and fight for trophies," Shaw added.
