"Manchester United" officially informed on their website that a new contract has been signed with the left-back Luke Shaw, who has been performing well this season.
The new 23-year-old Englishman's contract with the "Red Devils" will be valid until 2023. The player will earn a substantial amount of money - 150,000 pounds sterling per week.
L. Shaw joined "Man Utd" in 2014, but just last summer there were talks about his departure. Due to serious injuries, the defender struggled to become a regular starter.
However, a fantastic start to the season allowed L. Shaw to finally become an important player for Manchester's eleven and he received a new contract.
Overall, the defender has played 75 matches in the ranks of the "Red Devils". He scored his first and so far only goal in a match this season against "Leicester".
