Milan's "Inter" strategist Luciano Spalletti wants to keep captain Mauro Icardi, so he hopes to extend the contract with him in the near future.
The contract of the Argentinian national team sniper currently lasts until June 2021, but the buyout clause is only 110 million, which no longer seems impressive under current conditions.
The 24-year-old footballer has scored five goals in three "Serie A" matches this season and his coach fears that any club could simply make an offer, as happened with Neymar.
"Icardi should be given the highest possible buyout clause," Spalletti told Premium Sport.
"He is on the same level as Isco (whose new contract includes a buyout of 700 million euros - ed.) and other top-level players."
Icardi shined in the last "Inter" match against "SPAL 2013", and today the "nerazzurri" will face "Crotone".
