L. Suarez: I Will Not Bite Anymore

Luis Suarez promised during his presentation to Barcelona fans that no footballer will ever put up with more in their life. The Uruguayan is disqualified from any official matches until October 26th due to an incident in the World Cup match and revealed that he is seeking professional help.

"I dreamed of playing for Barcelona for many years, everyone knows my relationship with the family living here. When I came to watch the matches, I quietly thought: one day I will play here. But then everything seemed unattainable. I had offers from other teams, but when I found out that Barca wanted to sign me, I didn't think twice," the 27-year-old striker said during the presentation ceremony.

"My disqualification is what it is and we have to accept it. I apologized and spoke to specialists to solve this problem. I tell all fans - don't worry about it. It won't happen again", promised the footballer.

"It's a difficult situation for me. The same thing happened last year when I returned to the field on September 20th but could help my teammates outside the field."

"I came to Barca with high goals. Everything that happened in the past must be forgotten. If I thought about everything I experienced, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

After the International Court of Arbitration for Sport reduced Suarez's punishment and allowed him to train with the team, the footballer took to the field in a friendly match against the 'Leon' club from Mexico on Monday evening.

"The performance at Camp Nou was incredible and emotional. I still can't believe it, it's a dream come true," concluded the Uruguayan.

According to official Barcelona data, they paid €81 million to Liverpool for L. Suarez.
