"Barcelona" sniper Luis Suarez hinted that the club is ready to welcome Madrid's "Atletico" star Antoine Griezmann.
The Frenchman, who is having another great season, continues to be linked with a move to Catalonia. Such rumors were present during the last offseason, but then the forward decided not to break his team's transfer ban.
However, after this season, the "Blaugrana" will have the right to register new players, which could open the door for Griezmann's departure.
"The acquisition of players like Antoine, Dembele and Coutinho makes the club proud," Suarez told "Radio Rincon".
"He is a player who has brought a lot, he still has many years left at the highest level of the game and he always fights. He controls Atletico's attack and that is the most important thing."
"He won't come to just take someone's place, but with ambitions to win important things."
"He will be warmly welcomed."
Griezmann scored 27 goals and made 14 assists in a total of 46 games this season."
