"Barcelona" president Josep Bartomeu revealed that in the near future, Luis Suarez will sign a new contract with the club.
Less than two months ago Neymar linked his future with the Catalans, and the Uruguayan's contract could be confirmed later this year.
Recently, contracts were also renewed by Javier Mascherano and Ivan Rakitic, and a signature from Lionel Messi is expected soon.
"Suarez will now renew (his contract). That's already settled," Bartomeu told Radio Vision. "There are just a few small details left. We will announce everything in the coming days or weeks."
"Perhaps, why not, it will be like a big Christmas gift. Not for Luis, because he already knows he will continue his career here, but for football fans."
"To them, he is a very important person who is part of this incredible attacking trio that we have at the club."
Bartomeu also said that Suarez's new contract with the club will be valid until 2022. Therefore, the leaders hope that the striker will end his career at "Barca." He will turn thirty in January.
