Luis Suarez's friend and teammate in the Uruguay national team says that the star from "Barcelona" is interested in the possibility of coming to MLS competitions.
Celebrating his 33rd birthday at the beginning of next year, Suarez has recently faced criticism from "Barcelona" fans and the possibility that "Barcelona" will look for a new central forward in the summer cannot be ruled out.
As revealed by Uruguayan player Nicolas Lodeiro, who plays for "Seattle Sounders" club, Suarez has been inquiring about football in the United States for some time.
"I think Suarez wants to come to MLS. The only thing that needs to be done is to convince 'Barcelona'," said N. Lodeiro to the MLS website.
"His dream has always been to play for 'Barcelona' club. He still plays at a very high level and feels comfortable in his team.
Nevertheless, sooner or later the time will come when he will arrive in MLS. At least I hope so! He likes this league. He always asks me about it.
I hope we can play together in the 'Seattle Sounders' club, although it will not be an easy task. I think it's only a matter of time before he ends up in these competitions," added Suarez's compatriot.
