L. van Gaal: "Bayern" team wouldn't have allowed me to buy so many new players

"Manchester United" coach Louis van Gaal is happy that the club owners allowed him to splash the cash during the off-season.

In the summer, the "Man Utd" team went on a spending spree, releasing 200 million euros for seven new players and thus significantly contributing to the "Premier" league record.

"In the 'Bayern' team (the German club Holland coached from 2009-2011 - ed.), they would have held me back. Do you know what the 'Man Utd' representatives said? Keep shopping!" - the specialist rejoiced at the generosity of the leaders.

The coach also revealed to his country's media that he was very tempted by the 'Tottenham' team, but chose 'Man Utd' because the Manchester team is number one in England.
