Former Netherlands national team coach Louis van Gaal has announced that he is retiring from coaching. The 67-year-old strategist mentioned this while communicating with VTBL.
"Now I am a pensioner. I have no desire to become a sports director or a television football expert," said L. van Gaal.
Indeed, the Dutchman has not been coaching any club since 2016, when he left the "Manchester United" team with which he won the FA Cup.
In addition to the Netherlands national team and "Manchester United," L. van Gaal has also worked at clubs such as "Ajax," "Barcelona," "AZ Alkmaar," and "Bayern."
Throughout his career, the strategist has won numerous trophies in national leagues, and in 1995 he led "Ajax" to the top of the Champions League.
