„Manchester United“ strategist Louis van Gaal says he is not satisfied with the team's season start and does not rule out the possibility that the revival of the „Red Devils“ could take up to three years.
The disappointment with the coach's work was recently expressed by the team legend Paul Scholes. In 10 matches in the „Premier“ League, Manchester's footballers managed to earn only 13 points, and in the league cup, they were eliminated by the „MK Dons“ club back in August.
Van Gaal claims he really didn't expect such a poor start, but he is confident that the team will be able to return to the elite.
„I feel sorry for the fans and the management, because they trusted me, my staff, and the players. 13 points in 10 matches is not good, but we will recover“, - said the Dutchman.
„As I said from the very beginning, even when we won five games in preseason matches in the USA, the revival will take more than a year. I hope it will take less than three years. However, it depends on many factors. I believe that in the future, we will again celebrate victories“.
„Man United“ will host London's „Crystal Palace“ at home this Saturday after the unsuccessful derby last week.
