L. van Gaal: "Liverpool" has become an unstoppable machine in both attack and defense"

Legendary Dutch football specialist Louis van Gaal claims that if he had to bet money on the winner of the English "Premier" League, it would still be Liverpool.

After leaving Manchester United, the Dutchman, who is not seeking another club, admires both Manchester City and Liverpool, but the strategist believes that Jurgen Klopp has turned this team into a machine that works almost flawlessly in all positions.

"Klopp has made an incredibly fighting machine out of Liverpool both in attack and defense," Van Gaal told the Daily Mirror.

"If I had to bet my money, it would be on Liverpool," the strategist said about his predictions for the "Premier" League. "Liverpool still does not have the team with the best players in their lineup. Only Manchester City has such a team in England, but that is one of Guardiola's weaknesses."

"He only trains his team in one direction - attacking. The City team looks tragic when they have to defend. Liverpool looks much better defensively this season.

"City has incredible football ideas and playing styles, but they still lack fighting spirit in some matches. I definitely don't want to say that I don't enjoy watching this team, but the way Klopp's players play is something fantastic," Van Gaal added.

The team currently leading the league, Liverpool, has a four-point advantage over Manchester City.
