„Manchester United“ strategist Louis van Gaal is convinced that by the end of his contract in 2017, he will be able to lead the „Red Devils“ to the title of English champions.
The 63-year-old specialist signed a three-year contract last summer, and in March revealed that this job will be his last in his career. The Dutchman has also spoken about seeing „Man United“ legend Ryan Giggs as his successor.
Despite the team being eliminated from both domestic cups and failing to make a strong challenge for the „Premier“ league title, van Gaal believes that his methods will bring back the lost glory of „United“.
„I have been given three years, and I am convinced that within these three years I will win the league or another title,“ said the former coach of the Dutch national team.
„My methods did not work quickly here because when I led any other team, I had already won something.“
„Our philosophy brings titles as usual. However, here we were forced to make big changes not only in philosophy, but also in living conditions and club structure.“
