L. Vazquez will stay in Madrid's Real club for the season

Real Madrid defender Lucas Vazquez has extended his contract with the team for another year.

The 32-year-old defender from Spain rejected offers from several clubs because he wants to stay in the "royal" club.

Lucas Vazquez has been playing in the main Real Madrid team since 2015, previously belonging to youth teams.

He won his fifth UEFA Champions League title in his career last Saturday.

Along with Lucas Vazquez, 38-year-old midfielder Luka Modric will also remain with the team for another season.
