“Barcelona“ club defender Lamine‘as Yamalis, ahead of the upcoming Champions League match against Milan's „Inter“, revealed why he dyed his hair, commented on comparisons with Lionel Messi, and stated that others should not be angry with the Spaniard for his comments after the victory in the „Copa del Rey“ final:

„I dyed my hair because I was bored at home. So this way, time passed faster.“

„I don’t compare myself to anyone, including L. Messi... I hold this player in high regard because he is the best footballer in history.

I am just focused on improving, so comparing myself to other players is completely pointless.“

„Pressure? I left it at home a long time ago... I don’t feel any pressure.

I just feel that I have to enjoy the moment and give everything on the pitch, that’s all.“

„Whenever I win and speak, nobody can say anything to me. If they beat me, then they can talk.

I hope this will be „Barcelona“ team’s era.“

17-year-old Lamine‘as Yamalis has scored 14 goals and made 24 assists in 48 matches this season.
