It has been officially announced that the closing of the "La Liga" transfer window will be later than stated in the previous document, and now clubs will be able to acquire players until midnight on the first day of February.
The league confirmed on Monday that the first of February will be the last day for clubs to acquire players. The previous document stated that the transfer window would run until January 29.
This decision is particularly important for "Real" and "Barcelona" clubs, as it will give them three additional days to acquire new players. February first is the final transfer window day in most European leagues.
"Real", as well as the other Madrid team "Atletico", will not be able to acquire new players for a year due to FIFA regulations regarding the acquisition of young players. Meanwhile, for "Barcelona" club, this transfer window is the first during which they can once again register new players after being punished with the same penalty.
