In Spain - an important sign of football recovery after the coronavirus pandemic: from May 4th, teams are allowed to train. But not all players will be able to do so - returning legionnaires from other countries will have to undergo two weeks of self-isolation. The Spanish "La Liga" championship was suspended on March 12th due to COVID-19. The country was among the leaders in the world in terms of the number of cases and deaths for a few weeks. Spain has recorded 250,000 cases of the disease and more than 25,000 deaths. From May 4th, professionals are allowed to play sports, football clubs can open their facilities, but players can only train individually and with masks. The league's director Javier Tebas expressed satisfaction with the progress: "This crisis has deeply affected us. The return of football is an important sign that society is returning to normal life. It will bring back a part of life that is very beloved in Spain and around the world. Health is very important, so we have established protective rules for the return of the championship. The return is a victory." The season is planned to resume in June. The return process will be gradual, but will not last more than four weeks. Before returning to the field, players, coaches, and club employees will undergo COVID-19 tests, which may be done twice a week.
