On Saturday, three matches of the top Spanish league ("La Liga") 5th round were played. The Madrid club could not find their game and lost to [opponent]. La Coruna club also lost two points after playing a draw at home with [opponent]. Only one team managed to win - Madrid defeated [opponent] 2-1.

Real Madrid continues to struggle to find their game, losing to Athletic Bilbao away. Bilbao scored first in the 12th minute, and then again just before the end of the first half. Although Raul managed to score later, Real Madrid could not secure at least one point in this match.

In this match, Real Madrid could not count on Zinedine Zidane, Jonathan Woodgate, and Michael Owen, all of whom are injured.

Deportivo La Coruna also experienced difficult times, ending their match against Real Betis with a 1-1 draw. Real Betis scored first, but Deportivo equalized the score with a fantastic goal by Victor Sanchez.

Atletico Madrid player was expelled from the field in the match against Villarreal. Villarreal had the opportunity to at least secure a point, especially after the expulsion of Atletico's defender Luis Perea, but they could not score despite creating several chances.

The only goal in these matches was scored by Salva with a fantastic header just before halftime. On Sunday, the remaining six matches of the 5th round will be played in the championship.
