In the Spanish "La Liga" championship, the first two matches of the 3rd round were played on Friday.
In the first match, "Sevilla" faced off against Vigo's "Celta" at home. The Andalusians dominated the entire match and had to settle for a 1:1 draw.
In the 81st minute, Franco Vazquez put the hosts ahead. It seemed like this goal would be crucial in the match, but just three minutes later, Denis Suarez equalized for "Celta" and extended their point.
Sevilla lost their first points in the Spanish championship in these matches.
In the other match, two Basque clubs clashed - Bilbao's "Athletic" against "Real Sociedad". The Bilbao players, who scored goals in the first half, secured a 2-0 victory.
Inaki Williams put the hosts ahead, and Raul Garcia secured the victory with a masterful strike in the 28th minute.
"Athletic" and "Sevilla" both have seven points. This was the first setback for the "Real Sociedad" team this season.
