On Friday evening, the 2016-17 "La Liga" season started in Spain.
The first match took place in Andalusia, where the players of "Malaga" and Pamplona's "Osasuna" clashed. The newcomers of the league expanded the score in the end of the match against Malaga, who played on their home field.
The first goal came in the 56th minute, scored by 22-year-old goalkeeper Juanpi. However, the hosts failed to maintain their minimal lead until the end of the match, as Franas Merida scored the equalizer in the 85th minute.
The teams shared a point and will seek to achieve their first victory in the next round.
In the other matches, La Coruna's "Deportivo" faced "Eibar". After equalizing the goal deficit, the players of "Deportivo" celebrated a victory after a fierce battle with a score of 2-1.
In the 55th minute, "Eibar" took the lead with a goal from Ivan Ramis, but the hosts did not give up and goals from Pedro Mosquera and Lucas Perez brought them their first victory.
