Late M. Asensio goal secured "Real" win in the King's Cup (VIDEO)

On Thursday, the last quarterfinal match of the King's Cup was played in Spain.

In the first leg, "Leganes" hosted the royal Madrid "Real" at home. Zinedine Zidane played without key players and only after a tough and quite blank fight achieved victory.

In the first half, "Real" practically had no chances to score, but in the 35th minute, Mateo Kovacic had the most real chance to put the guests ahead, but the Croatian, after taking over the ball and remaining alone with the goalkeeper, failed to make a precise shot towards the goal.

In the second half, "Leganes" also had their chances, and once again "Real" was saved by the crossbar. It seemed that the match would end without goals, but Marco Asensio scored a beautiful goal in the 89th minute, when Theo Hernandez made a precise pass from the flank.

With difficulty, "Real" achieved victory and next Wednesday will seek to maintain the advantage gained and advance to the semifinals.

Result:

"Leganes" 0 - 1 "Real Madrid" 89' [0 - 1] M. Asensio
