"Lazio" crushes "Sassuolo", "Milan" wins in Rome (VIDEO)

Today there were several matches in the Italian championship.

Rome's "Lazio" continues to hold the third place after defeating "Sassuolo" 3-0 as visitors. The capital's footballers took the lead just after the start of the match, when Sergej Milinkovič-Savičius scored with a long-range shot.

In the first half, a penalty kick was awarded to "Sassuolo" after Federico Peluso's handball, which Ciro Immobile successfully converted, and Savičius scored another goal with his head right after halftime.

The action did not end there, as soon after, Domenico Berardi earned a red card for a foul on Stefan Radu. Moreover, in the 62nd minute, Adam Marušić was also sent off for unsportsmanlike conduct, so the teams finished the match playing with 10 against 10.

In the next match in Genoa, no such incidents occurred. The home team "Sampdoria" scored three points against "Udinese".

Although the visitors had several good opportunities, goalkeeper Seko Fofana did not let any goals in, and luck was on both teams' side, as "Sampdoria" striker Gianluca Caprari also failed to score.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 35th minute with a goal by defender Matias Silvestre, and their victory was sealed by Duvan Zapata at the end of the match. In the last minutes, it became clear that the latter strike was decisive, as the "Udinese" club managed to force Silvestre into scoring an own goal.

The match ended with a score of 2-1.

The match scheduled for 19:00 Lithuanian time between Turin's "Juventus" and Bergamo's "Atalanta" was postponed due to heavy snowfall. The new time for this match is currently unclear.

In the last Sunday match held in the capital, "Roma" players hosted the "Milan" team. Despite occupying a lower position in the standings, the visitors did not back down against the hosts.

At the beginning of the second half, "Rossoneri" took the lead with a fantastic goal from Patrick Cutrone, and despite efforts by Eusebio Di Francesco's pupils to equalize in the visitors' ranks, Davide Calabria also found the back of the net.

After this victory, "Milan" continues to hold the seventh place, but the distance to the fifth place is currently only six points.
