However, Lazio managed to expand their victory in the very end of the match - Joaquin Correa scored the winning goal in the 83rd minute.
Lazio settled in fourth place in the standings after the victory, while AC Milan is only in 11th place.

The visitors took the lead in the 32nd minute when Mario Pasalic redirected the ball into their own net.
Atalanta's situation worsened even further in the 39th minute when Josip Ilicic was sent off from the field.
Cagliari secured their victory in the 58th minute with a goal from Christian Oliva.
