"Lazio" extended their winning streak in Italy

After a short break in Italy, the "Serie A" battles return to the stadiums on Sunday.

In the first matches of the 18th round, the team of Rome's "Lazio" won a dramatic victory, defeating "Brescia" 2:1 away.

The hosts started the match more successfully, taking the lead after the 18th minute with a goal from Mario Balotelli.

"Brescia" complicated their situation significantly in the 40th minute when Andrea Cistana committed a foul in the penalty area and received a red card. "Lazio" took advantage of this opportunity and successfully converted a penalty kick by Ciro Immobile in the 42nd minute.

The guests had a numerical advantage throughout the second half, but they only managed to capitalize on it in added time, when the same C. Immobile scored the winning goal.

This is already the ninth consecutive victory in the "Serie A" championship for the Rome team, and they currently occupy third place in the standings.
