"Lazio" fans show their dissatisfaction - only 11 season tickets sold

The team of Rome's "Lazio" has not been going through the best of times lately, which is best illustrated by the numbers of season tickets sold for the club's matches revealed today. Despite playing at the "Stadio Olimpico" stadium, which can hold 70,000 fans, the season ticket sales that started yesterday did not really please the club's management. It is reported that only eleven "Lazio" season tickets were purchased on the first day. In comparison, last year the club had sold almost 13,000 season tickets. Such poor ticket sales numbers were also influenced by the fact that the team finished eighth in the "Seria A" championship last year and the situation with the team's coach. On July 6, Marcelo Bielsa was appointed as the coach, but just two days later he announced his resignation from the position. The team's fans are also not happy with the team's work in the transfer market - so far not a single new player has been acquired, and there are rumors that the club's leader Antonio Candreva will be sold this summer.
