Leading up to the upcoming Champions League knockout match against London's "Chelsea," Paris PSG coach Laurent Blanc praised the "blues" strategist Jose Mourinho, but at the same time hinted at the possibility of deliberately lost matches by the English team.
"Our match against 'Chelsea'? Mourinho is a genius. He lost the FA Cup match to 'Bradford,' which gave them a free week to prepare for the match against us.
"I can only guess at what a storm would have erupted if PSG had lost such a match. People would say that L. Blanc knows nothing," the strategist said.
Last season, both clubs also had a chance to test their strength in crucial Champions League matches.
At home, PSG won the first leg of the quarterfinals 3-1, but away they lost 0-2 and withdrew from the fight for the prestigious trophy.
