This summer, Laurent Blanc, who started coaching the Paris Saint-Germain team, believes that PSG is capable of competing for the UEFA Champions League title this season.
According to the coach, the Parisian team can follow the example of London's Chelsea, who unexpectedly triumphed in the tournament in 2012.
Our goal is the same as other teams - to perform as successfully as possible in every tournament.
Last season in the Champions League, PSG went far (until the quarterfinals - ed.), so we can repeat this scenario - maybe even more successfully. We can win this tournament just like "Chelsea" did when no one expected it," said L. Blanc.
The French champions will start their journey in the "Ligue 1" championship tonight (9:30 p.m.), when they will play against "Montpellier" away.
