"Fenerbahce SK" football club, competing in the Turkish championship, extended the contract with their young talent Tuncay. The contract has been extended for another three seasons, until 2007. This contract of the 22-year-old player was supposed to expire this summer. "Fenerbahce SK" president Aziz Yildirim is very pleased with this agreement. "There were many rumors in the press about this possible new contract and it could have harmed the club, but Tuncay signed a new contract without even discussing any financial terms," said Yildirim. "Despite his young age, his personality and strong football intellect can be a great example for other players." Tuncay himself is also satisfied with the new contract, as he was happy to fulfill the promise of staying in the team that he had given to the president before. "I hope to be very useful for the team in those three years," said the player. Tuncay joined the leaders of the Turkish championship two years ago, coming from the "Sakaryaspor" club, and has already scored 26 goals. The player has also represented the Turkish national team 13 times, scoring 3 goals."
