Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang added two more goals to his tally as Borussia Dortmund, currently in second place in the Bundesliga, ended a two-game winless streak. Aubameyang in the 19th minute after his successful pass. D. Didavi narrowed the lead in the 40th minute, but in the 65th minute Stuttgart's player G. Niedermeier scored an own goal, and in added time, P.E. Aubameyang scored his second goal. With 17 goals, the Gabonese forward now leads the scoring chart by three goals ahead of Bayern Munich's Polish striker Robert Lewandowski. After playing 14 matches in the 2015-2016 season without a loss, Bayern still holds an 8-point lead over Borussia (40 and 32 points, respectively).
