"Leganes" found a new head coach

Due to the survival struggle in the Spanish priorities, "Leganes" found a new head coach.

The experienced specialist from Mexico - Javier Aguirre - has been appointed. The 60-year-old strategist lost his job with the Egyptian national team in the summer, where he worked for exactly one year.

A contract has been signed with the new coach until the end of the season.

"Leganes" had to search for a new coach after mutually parting ways with Mauricio Pellegrino.

J. Aguirre is well-known in Spanish football - he has coached four different clubs in the country: Pamplona's "Osasuna", Madrid's "Atletico", "Real Zaragoza" and Barcelona's "Espanyol".

The Mexican has also coached his country's national team and Japan's national team.

"Leganes" is currently in last place after 12 rounds in the Spanish top division.
