Legendary Kaka announces retirement (VIDEO)

Another football legend bids farewell to the great football - 35-year-old Brazilian Kaka announced on social media that he will no longer return to the field.

The legendary Brazilian, who became a world champion with the national team in 2002, played this year in the United States, but after the end of his contract with "Orlando City" decided to hang up his football boots.

"Father, it was much more than I could ever imagine. Thank you! Now I am ready to take the next step in my career. In the name of God, I say amen!", - wrote the footballer on his Twitter account, sharing a photo with the famous slogan "I Belong To Jesus."

Kaka is best known for his time playing for "Milan" club. Standing out with his intelligent play as an attacking midfielder, he played for the fashion capital team from 2003 to 2009.

It was after this period that the Brazilian decided to take on a new challenge in his career - for an impressive sum at the time, he moved to "Real" Madrid, where he played quite successfully until painful injuries affected him.

Throughout his career, Kaka wore the jerseys of four teams - in addition to "Milan" and "Real," he also represented his hometown club "Sao Paulo" and the aforementioned "Orlando City."

Throughout his career, the attacking football player played 654 matches for clubs and scored 208 goals. Once, the Brazilian triumphed in the UEFA Champions League with "Milan," and also won the soccer championships of Spain and Italy.

In the Brazilian national team, Kaka managed to play 92 matches and score 29 goals. Kaka also made history in the "Ballon d'Or" awards - he was recognized as the best player on the planet in 2007.

It is believed that Kaka will continue his career at "Milan" club, taking on the role of sporting director.
